

Robert “Bob” C. Scully, 60, longtime Edmond resident and President of Beasley Oil Company passed away Thursday, August 7th. He was born in Amarillo, TX on November 17, 1953. His parents, Bob and JoAnn Scully, preceded him in death.
Bob enjoyed life, family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and Grandfather. He enjoyed traveling, OU football, and organizing his annual “Lucky Strike” fishing trip.
Bob was also an advocate of the oil and gas industry and enjoyed mentoring many young professionals. He worked over 35 years in the oil and gas industry before becoming President of Beasley Oil Company in 1992. He was a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen.
He is survived by his wife Carol of 36 years; children: Ashley Jones and husband Brandon, Adam Scully and wife Neely, Alec Scully and wife Elizabeth, his grandchildren Kaden and Cassidy Jones. His brother Pat Scully and Margaret Seymour and his sister Linda Geier. Also, his two beloved cocker spaniels, Lexi and Marley.
He was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. The Scully family will receive friends on Monday, August 11th, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 12th, at 1:30 pm at Chapel Hill, officiated by Rev. Robert Rose.
