Born in Oklahoma City to Willie Dale & Jacqueline Jo Davis. Attended Putnam City High School Class of 1965. Shortly after high school, Ronnie volunteered to serve in Vietnam by joining the United States Navy. In Vietnam, he worked as a medic with the Marines. He was a retired Navy Chief who received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, among other military honors, for his contributions with his fellow brave soldiers in the Vietnam War. At one time, he was a dental technician on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. In addition to his years aboard the USS Nimitz, Ronnie was stationed at Corpus Christi, Texas; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; Okinawa, Japan; Bremerton, Washington; and Port Hueneme, California. He dedicated nearly 28 years of his life to the Navy.

He was a loving father, brother, son, and friend who will be greatly missed. Ronnie was an artist who enjoyed painting landscapes, writing poems, building outdoor furniture, and shared his mother’s passion for gardening. Ronnie also loved sports and was a big fan of OU. Boomer Sooner!
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Bill Davis; stepfather, John Kopacka; his sister, Lori Davis; and his grandson, Trevon. Ronnie is survived by his mother, Jackie Kopacka; his 3 children, Victor Davis & wife Heather, Danielle Bowls & husband Christopher, and Rachelle Davis & husband Michael; his 9 grandchildren, Serena, Brooklyn, Jackson, Anikin, Robert, Aleena, Tidus, Cameron, and Alexa & husband D.J.; his 2 great-grandchildren, Paxton & Lillian; his 4 siblings, Troi McClanahan, Don Davis, Terri Hanna, & Scott Davis; his girlfriend, Debby Tice; his former wife, Vickie Wells; and many nieces and nephews.
