Sara Marie Crager, 38, of Oklahoma City, passed away, leaving behind a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Sara was happiest with the wind in her hair on a jeep trail or the ocean breeze at her side. She had a passion for music that could light up a room and a spirit that longed to explore the world. Her curiosity, humor, and kindness touched countless people—friends, coworkers, and strangers who quickly became friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Karla Crager of Nicoma Park; her grandfather, Aden Crager of Muskogee; her grandmother, Mildred Woods of Nicoma Park; her grandparents, Betty and Elvin Lacer of Choctaw; and her infant sister, Lora.
She is survived by her sister, Angela Crager of Blanco, OK, who carries forward her memory with love. Sara also leaves behind a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, as well as a beautiful network of friends and coworkers from around the world who will never forget her laugh, her stories, and her way of making every adventure bigger than life.
And, of course, Sara’s heart belonged to her beloved cats—Loki, Link, and Shank—who were her constant companions and partners in mischief.
Sara’s life was far too short, but it was also full—of music, of travel, of joy, and of love. She will be deeply missed, remembered always, and celebrated often.
