Shellene Jacobs Gilpin

Shellene "Bebe" Jacobs Gilpin, 48, of Newalla, died November 2, 2010. She was born March 7, 1962, in Sinton, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father Dewey Jacobs. She is survived by her loving husband William J. Gilpin Jr., mother Merlene Jacobs, brother Ron Jacobs and wife Kathy, sisters Kelly Dawkins, Vicki Killough and husband Tim, nephews ("her boys") Chris Dawkins and wife Mandi, Lee Dawkins, Clinton Killough, Brody Killough, Trent Bobbitt, and Ryan Hardwick, nieces: Lauren Calvert, Sheri Sowa, mother-in-law Dorothy Gilpin, sister-in-law Liz Bobbit and husband Rodney, family and many friends

Our sweet, beautiful Bebe has gone to the Lord. Bebe always had a smile for everyone and an infectious laugh. She had such great love for her family and friends. Billy has lost his best friend and soul mate. We will all miss her.

Bebe was raised in San Antonio, Texas. She worked in the wholesale bakery business for many years in San Antonio before moving to Oklahoma City. In Oklahoma, she worked for the OU College of Nursing for ten years.

Viewing will be at Pink Baptist Church, Tecumseh at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 6 with funeral services following at 4 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Kidney Foundation or the

American Diabetes Association.
