Stanley was born to Raymond and Ruth (Cook) Kitchens in Henryetta, OK. Stanley was a servant of God, family and his country. Stanley was a WWII veteran who served in the Coast Guard. He married his sweetheart, the love of his life, Charlene, on June 10th, 1945. Stanley worked in the family business Kitchens Korner for many years. Together they loved and raised their children, Terry Lee, Tommy Ray, and Mary Suzanne. Being a man of service and labor of love, he devoted his time to the Meals on Wheels program. He was a man of love, honor and prayer. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Charlene; brothers; Hugh and Bud Kitchens; and Marie Barton. He is survived by his sons Terry and wife Eilene and Tommy and daughter Suzanne Kitchens, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his much cherished and loved friend, Fern Smith. In lieu of floral tribute, the family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels Oklahoma County, or to his church Crown Heights United Methodist. Services will be 10:00am, Thursday December 29, 2011 at Crown Heights United Methodist with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
