

Tommy Jean Gross, 84 of Jones, Oklahoma passed away on January 1, 2022. He was born in Diablock, Kentucky to Berry and Lucy (Melton) Gross and grew up in Hazard, Kentucky. He joined the Air Force and was transferred to Amarillo, Texas where he met Annell Woolsey, who passed away in 1996. They were married and had two children; Wanda and Larry. He left the Air Force and got a job at a packing hours for $1.25/hour. He went to work for Safeways (now Homel and Grocery Warehouse). He retired after 35 years and was the hardest working man his family has ever known.
Tommy had a great personality. He was kind to everyone, loved by all, and loved all of his family. He raised cows and had a dog named Pearl, who he loved so much.
Tommy is survived by his Daughter; Wanda Jones of Midwest City, OK, Sister; Trudy Creech of Lexington, KY, Grandchildren; Regina De La Cruz of Midwest City, OK, Jessica Tirado and Husband Julio of Broken Arrow, OK, Chief Petty Officer, Gilbert Rios of Norfolk, VA, Kyle Gross and Wife Kacia of Jones, OK and Emily Abernathy and Husband Josh of Jones, OK, Great-Grandchildren; Joshua, Zech, Dakota, Athena, Angel, Zane, Nevaeh, Ben and Kalysta, and Great Great-Grandson; Jake.
We will miss him so much!
