

Wanda was born on April 28th, 1936 in Oklahoma. She grew up in Oklahoma City where she married Virgil in 1953. They moved to Blanchard, began a family and were active members at Linn Ave Pentecostal Holiness Church. Wanda enjoyed gardening, painting, quilting, but most importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a woman of strong faith, servant heart, and a sweet spirit.
Wanda is survived by her son Raymond and daughter in-law Carol of Savannah, Georgia, daughter Virginia of Blanchard, Oklahoma; grandchildren Alan (Lisa) Trumbly of Murphy TX, Melanie (Kevin) Ornelas of Tuttle OK, Stacy (Joe) Valentine of Blanchard, OK Brian Trumbly of Ft. Smith AR, and Derrick (Meghan) Cummings of Merdian, ID; great-grandchildren Claire, Cathryn, Logan, Caden, Carys, Jonathan, Cooper, Ellie, Madison, and Olivia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.
Wanda was preceded in death by husband of 68 yrs, Virgil Trumbly, her parents, Lester and James Hicks. siblings, Gertrude Pinkston, Bessie Phillips, R.C Hicks Earl Hicks and Leon Hicks.
A visitation will take place at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, located at 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK, 73116-1298, on February 13, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow the visitation at the same venue on February 13, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm.
The committal service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, located at 6001 NW Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK, 73118, on February 13, 2026, immediately following the funeral service.
