Wanda L. Turner

Wanda L. Turner, 78 year-old resident of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma, passed away Feb. 7, 2014 at her home. Born Feb. 7, 1936 in Fouke, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Charlie F. Williams and Ada E. (Nall) Williams. Wanda was raised and educated in the Fouke, Arkansas area. She was a longtime nurse’s aide. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband Kenneth Turner. Survivors include 2 sons, Doyle (Virginia) Turner of Choctaw, OK; Larry (Susan) Turner of Newalla, OK; 1 daughter, Margaret (Jackie) Scott of Nicoma Park, OK; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. Following transport to Arkansas, a visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at the Texarkana East Funeral Home in Texarkana, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at the Corinth Church of Christ near Fouke, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
