Tom had a talent for working with his hands and took pride in creating and fixing things. He loved woodworking, hunting, gardening, and spending time on the golf course. More than anything, he treasured time with his family. Whether he was telling stories, sharing a laugh, or offering one of his memorable opinions, Tom had a way of making every interaction more interesting. To know Tom was to know a true character. He was ornery, witty, and never afraid to say exactly what was on his mind. Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Adeline Damron; his sister, Norma Dean Damron; his brother, John Ray Damron; his sister-in-law, Mary Josephine Damron; and his nieces, Norma Ann Damron and Terri Jo Damron.
