William "Bill" Eugene Stovall, 82, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. Bill was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 17, 1941, to William Newton Stovall and Mary Alice (Linthicum) Stovall.
Bill completed six years of schooling before focusing his energy and attention on his working life. He met and married his wife of 27 years, Bonnie Walker Stovall.
Bill was a very kind and generous man. He was always willing and able to help his family and friends with whatever they might need; all they had to do was call and he would show up. He was a professional “jack of all trades,” considering himself a machinist, home builder, plant manager and business man, among many other admirable titles. Bill was absolutely a “self-made man.” Bill greatly valued his relationships with family and friends, especially those who shared in his witty sense of humor. Bill’s perfect day would be waking up, getting on his tractor, and working on the farm all day with the mantras, “Get it done today,” and “Always be on time.” Bill will be greatly missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William Newton Stovall and Mary Alice (Linthicum) Stovall, his wife Bonnie Walker Stovall, and his sisters Flora Ruth Rushing and Penny Cornell.
Bill is survived by his children Terry Don (Renee) Stovall, William Eugene Fields, Howard Lee (Marina) Daugherty with daughter Bailey Handley, brother James (Connie L.) Stovall, grandchildren Michelle Rykes, Billy Fields, Heather Stovall, Chris Stovall, and Tyler Hitt, along with nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
A visitation for Bill will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
