Alice Maxine Lanning, 91, of Olathe, KS passed away Friday, September 30, 2011. Private family graveside services will be held in Albany Cemetery, Sabetha, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Olathe Chapter DAR, 12252 S. Shannan Lane, Olathe, KS 66062.
Maxine was born March 8, 1920 in Sabetha, KS to Robert and Anna (Barndt) Steibler. She was a longtime member of the Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Lanning was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Lanning, Jr. Survivors include her son, Michael and wife Linda Lanning and daughter, Cathy Lanning; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her sister Tootie Dilldine and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
