Andy served his country in the US Army, he was honorably discharged in 1948. In 1951 he married the love of his life, Doris Ann Dillingham. Together they raised a family and in partnership owned an auto parts business in Olathe for more than three decades.
Andy loved adventure and travel, in retirement they wore out 3 RV's exploring the United States, Canada and Alaska. Many of their trips were with various grandkids in tow. Andy and Ann could find something interesting and worthy of exploration in the smallest, most out of the way places. They made friends easily and were always eager to learn. They passed on that love of travel, passion of nature and lust for learning to their kids and grandkids.
Andy is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann just a short 15 months ago. He mourned her deeply and longed for her gentle touch, quick wit and sparkling blue eyes. We can only imagine the joy of Andy and Ann being reunited in Heaven, especially in this Season of love and family gatherings. Their 65+ years of marriage and devotion to each other continues uninterrupted and serves as a guide to each of their children and grandchildren.
Andrew is survived by his three children, David (Ramona) Etter, Dorothy (Rick) Dill and Sharon Sue (David) Devlin. Left behind to cherish his memory are his six grandchildren: Daniel Devlin, Emily ( Tony) Ebaben, Elizabeth (Chris) Meridith, Amanda (Ric) Bradford, Jenni Dill and Lauren Dill. He will be sadly missed by his six great grandchildren: Kayla Ebaben, Khloey Ebaben, Kylee Rose Ebaben, Mara Bradford, Marissa Bradford and Everest Seaman.
