Coneistea "Connie" Crow Pippin

on Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Olathe Medical Center. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife,

loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to everyone she met.

Connie was born on November 20, 1943 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Chester and Della Mae (Jones) Crow. She grew up in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Standlee Pippin on April 3, 1965. She loved life and really loved spending time with all her grandkids and great grandkids. They were her pride and joy. Connie retired from J.C. Penny Distribution Center in 2005. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents: Chester and Della Mae Crow, her brother: Glen Crow, her sister: Helen Crow and sons: Stephen Pippin and Harry Gene. Survivors include her husband of 48 years Standlee Pippin of Olathe, Kansas, daughter: Paula Triplett of Olathe, Kansas, sisters: Barbara “Bobbie” Anderson of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Betty Zeller of Berryville, Arkansas and Carol Cothran of Independence, Missouri. Left behind to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1st at the McGilley & Frye funeral home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas, Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Connie was cremated according to her wishes. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
