Jeffrey Jeff A. Hiatt

Jeffrey A. Hiatt, 49, of Olathe, Kansas passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He will forever be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend to everyone he met. Jeff was born on December 26, 1965 in Olathe, Kansas to Marvin E. and Violet M. (Caldwell) Hiatt. Jeff attended and graduated from Olathe South High School and was an avid sports fan of many Olathe South sporting events. He attended a few years of college, and worked as an accountant for the IRS in Kansas City, Missouri. He will be sadly missed.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Violet Hiatt. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry Hiatt and his wife Junella of Gardner, Kansas, Steve Hiatt and his wife Elaine of Gardner, Kansas, sisters, Brenda Winchel and her husband Robert of Wellsville, Kansas and Janet Winchel and her husband Harold of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish his memory are several nieces and nephews along with other family members.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 16th at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery 9501 West 159th Street Overland Park, Kansas. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00p.m. Sunday, March 15th at the funeral home.
