Joanne Crowley

She was born on April 21, 1932 in Axtell, KS to the late James McGeeney and Margaret McGeeney. Joanne was known for her strong Catholic faith and Irish heritage. Holidays and traditions were very important to her, as she was looking forward to Easter and her 90th birthday. She absolutely adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. No one could cook or bake like she could. Joanne was known for never missing a ball game, track meet or family event.

Joanne was greeted at Heaven's gates by her three precious babies: Shaun, Kelly and Kellene “Kay”. We know she is up there rocking her babies. She was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret and her siblings: Jud, Bud, Toots, Jimmy, Roy and Shirley.

Survivors include her children: Shannon Crowley, Cavan Crowley, Carrick Crowley and wife Kelly, Shaulene Crowley and Shauna Baker and husband Brian; 9 grandchildren: Kennedy, Nichole, Katie, Meghan, Shaun, Mariah, Canton, Brock and Chandler; 8 great grandchildren: Nash, Malia, Carson, Easton, Makenna, Alayna, Noah and Myla.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:00am – 11:00 am with Rosary at 10:45am and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Olathe, KS.
