Juan Jose Balleza Ojeda, 26, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He will forever be remembered a devoted husband, loving father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to everyone he knew.
Juan was born on October 29, 1997 in Ocampo, Guanajuato Mexico to Jose Balleza Alonzo and Maria Socorro Ojeda Cordova. At the age of sixteen, he traveled from Mexico to Kansas City to start a new life. Juan had a radiant smile that touched the hearts of many of his friends and family. Others considered him as a happy go lucky kind of person that had a heart of gold. He would worry and care for others in need. He enjoyed teasing and joking with his family and friends. He was considered the life of the party, someone who always had something up his sleeve to prank somebody. He was a kind and generous humble kind of man who was loved by so many.
Juan worked in carpentry within the family construction business. He liked singing and dancing to his favorite music. He enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family. Nothing gave him more pleasure in life than the time he spent playing with his nieces. He met the love of his life, Abigail Balleza. Together they were blessed with their daughter, Anahi Balleza. He will be sadly missed.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Maria Balleza. He is survived by his loving wife Abigail Balleza and his daughter Anahi of the home, two brothers Jose Manuel Balleza Ojeda of Olathe, Kansas, Rodrigo Alonzo Balleza Ojeda of Guanajuato, Mexico, two sisters Jessica Balleza and her husband Luis Manuel of Guanajuato, Mexico and Moserrat Guadalupe Balleza of Guanajuato, Mexico.
Mass of Christian Burial 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023. St. Paul Catholic Church 21650 West 115th Terrace Olathe, Kansas. (Everyone who attends the Funeral Mass is instructed to park their vehicles on the east side by the flagpoles). Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30th at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Burial will be in Santa Barbara Guanajuato Mexico.
