Judy & Arthur Allen

Judy was born May 5, 1938 in Topeka, KS. She devoted herself to taking care of Arthur and loved reading, music, art and cooking.

Art was born on October 14, 1943 in Shawnee, KS. He served as a Marine and was a Conductor for Union Pacific Railroad. He loved gardening, traveling to CO, wildlife and photographing nature.

Art and Judy were married on October 24, 1970. They cared deeply for animals, especially their black labs who were considered family. They also enjoyed the companionship of family and friends.

Art and Judy were preceded in death by their parents, Arthur R. Sr and Maudie M. (Price) Allen; Carl A. and Stella A. (Keller) Brock; brother-in-law, Frank D. Quinn and nephew, Timothy L. Quinn. They are survived by Judy’s sister, Donna L. (Brock) Quinn, nephew Frank Brent Quinn and many beloved friends and extended family.

A memorial service celebrating their lives will be 4pm, Saturday, November 5 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula St, Olathe, KS. Visitation will be from 3-4pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs.
