Mary was born on September 30, 1947, to Fred and Nada (Olson) King, in Nashua, MO.
Mary held a lifelong career as a cherished secretary for the Shawnee Mission School District. She also took great pride in volunteering at Hallmark Kaleidoscope. During her career as a secretary and volunteer, she touched the hearts of countless students, faculty and staff.
Mary is survived by her two sisters, Janice Johnston and Carolyn Rupe; two children, Jay (Brandy) Longstreth and Kim Juergens; her grandsons Cody Longstreth, Marshal (Kerri) Juergens, Kelsey Juergens and her granddaughters, Jolee Juergens, Morgan Longstreth, her partner Marco Mobley, and their children, Ezra Mobley and Giovanni Mobley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Longstreth.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 11 AM, Saturday, February 24th, 2024, at Peace Baptist church, 2300 Chestnut Ave, Kansas City, MO 64127.
