Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 11485 Ridgeview, Olathe, Kansas. Inurnment will be held in Olathe Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
Maxine was born February 24, 1932 in Olathe Kansas. She was a legal secretary for several Olathe area attorneys and the City of Olathe. Her passions included being a long-time volunteer with Olathe’s Seniors Serving Schools; travels to all fifty states and England ; active bowler; Bunco; Scouting, where she wrote Troop 86’s history; and active at Grace United Methodist Church’s Christian Gathering Class, Bell Choir and wrote “Get Well’’ cards.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Thomas.
She is survived by her son Roger (Alicia) Neumer; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
