Mildred Lucille Rollo Ward

Millie was born on July 16, 1925 In Kansas City, MO. to W. Frank and Hattie (Louderback) Rollo. She worked for the Shawnee Mission School District for 35 years before retiring. Millie loved her family dearly, and she loved to bowl and play cards.

Millie is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ward and two sisters Dixie Kill and Frankie Woods. She leaves behind her son, Ronald Ward and his wife Marty, sister, Wanda Peluso and her husband John, two grandchildren Jason Ward and Rhonda Barker and her husband Steve, and two great grandsons Cade and Jake Barker. The family would like to thank the Atriums and their staff for their compassionate care for Millie over the past six years, and especially her last few days before her journey to heaven.

A visitation honoring Mrs. Ward will be from 6-8p.m., Tuesday, June 14th at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 E. Loula St. Olathe, KS. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15th at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery 83rd Quivira Rd. Lenexa, Kansas.
