Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas 66061. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 701 North 94th Street Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30th at the funeral home prior to the service. Ralph was born on October 1, 1924 in Kansas City, Kansas to Leonard R. and Minnie Alice (Hutchinson) Franklin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 62 years, Helen Louise Franklin, daughter: Marilyn Franklin and son-in-law: Jamal Abyad.
Ralph is survived by his four children: Linda Thomas and her husband George, Judi Abyad, Steven Franklin and his wife Karen and Janice Carter and her husband John H. Left behind to cherish his memory are his 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Ralph will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him and will be greatly missed.
