Robert Eldon Pritchett, 63, of Olathe, Kansas passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 5, 2023. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to everyone he knew.
“Rob” as he was known by his family and friends was born on October 9, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri to George Robert Pritchett and Letha Dale (Norton) Lanker. He attended and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling with his wife Jill by his side. He was a hard worker, keeping himself busy with Diamonds Auto Care, the auto shop business he owned and built with his wife. He also kept busy at home working in the yard and doing different remodeling jobs around the house.
Rob enjoyed the outdoors, watching and listening to the birds from his back deck and just relaxing. He enjoyed spending time with his family but nothing gave him more pleasure in life than the time he spent with his four grandchildren, Molly, Ella, Eden and Everett. He looked forward to the arrival of his newest grandson, Elliot due later this year.
He is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years Jill Pritchett, mother Letha Dale Lanker of Shawnee, Kansas, daughter Jessica Hall of Topeka, Kansas and his son Jacob Junod (Carly) of Liberty, Missouri. Left behind to cherish his memory are his four grandchildren, Molly Hall, Ella Hall, Eden Junod and Everett Junod. He is also survived by his two sisters, Cathy Chipman (Chris) of Shawnee, Kansas, Trina Wages (Rob) of Greenwood, Missouri, and a niece and three nephews.
His father, George Robert Pritchett and his sister Vicky Pritchett precede Rob in death.
Rob “the Gentleman” Pritchett will be cremated according to his wishes. A “Celebration of Life” will take place on July 7th, 5:30-8pm at Old Shawnee Town (Town Hall), 11600 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, KS 6623.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family to offset medical expenses.
