Valerie dedicated her career to caring for others. As a CNA, she brought a big heart and gentle touch to her patients and co-workers, making a positive impact on their lives. Her sincere ability to care for the developmentally disabled and the elderly gave her a sense of responsibility she took seriously throughout the years. Valerie worked at several institutions throughout the Kansas City area.
Valerie was a devoted Christian. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She had many hobbies; cooking, baking, gardening, and finding great deals at garage sales. Nothing gave her more pleasure in life than the time she spent with her two grandsons Mason and Matthew as well as her grand dogs!
Valerie found solace and joy in music. It was her escape, a world of melodies that filled her soul. She loved nothing more than getting behind the wheel of her VW Beetle cruising through town, the wind in her hair and the radio blasting classic tunes. Music was truly her passion. She also enjoyed watching movies. Every year when the Grammy's or the Oscars came on, she was always amazed to see the beautiful gowns and funny outfits worn.
