Wayne Dale Hutchison died September 6, 2010. He was born August 16, 1932 to George L. and Leona Brown Hutchison in Chanute, KS. He graduated from McPherson High School and then served in the US Army at European headquarters. Following discharge, he attended McPherson and Pittsburg State Universities earning a Master’s Degree in education. He then worked both as an educator and in school administration. He married Maxine Goodwin June 14th, 1959 in Cedar Vale, KS. This union later resulted in divorce upon which he moved to Tulsa, OK where he owned and operated his own business. Survivors include: daughters Dena Pflughoft and husband Jeff of Olathe, KS, and Jana Hutchison- Johnson of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Aaron Pflughoft and wife Emily, Lindsey Cadle and husband Chris and Javin Johnson; great-grandchildren, Avery and Aden Cadle and beloved brother Gerald Hutchison and wife Delores of Neodesha, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving aunt, Wilma Carstens and sister Helen Bruce. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Condolences may be made at www.McGilley-Frye.com
