Angela Emerson

Angela Marie (Mastrogiovanni) Emerson, 87, of Little Egg Harbor Twp., passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 6, surrounded by family. She was an insurance underwriter for Prudential Insurance Co., for 27 years, retiring in 1994. Angela was an avid cook and a devoted family person. Born and raised in Jersey City, she resided there before moving to Old Bridge in 1995, most recently to Little Egg Harbor in 2009. She is predeceased by her husband, Paul Emerson (1998) and daughter Diane Troiano-Albert (1996). Angela is survived by her daughter Lou Mastro-Emerson of Barnegat and grandchildren, Lynn & Steve Zinser of Howell, Jennifer Grolemund & Michael Gallagher of Howell, Christopher Troiano-Albert of Hillsborough, and Kelly Albert of Dallas, PA. Also surviving are 4 great-granddaugthers, Emma, Abby, Ryan and Kiera. Angela also leaves her sister and brother-in-law, Ann & John Haines of Iselin and sister Amelia of Barnegat & her late husband John Trzaka (2000). Angela is also predeceased by her brothers, Louis Mastres (1995) and his wife Adeline (2008) and her brother, Carmine Mastres (2004), survived by his wife, Helene of Paramus. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10am from St Ambrose RC Church, Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge. Committal will follow at St Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
