

Damien Ostrowski, 37, of Old Bridge, passed away quietly on Saturday, October 23, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick surrounded by family. A self employed contractor he worked in construction and home improvement for many years. Damien was a veteran of the US Army having served in Desert Storm. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Post 9468, Old Bridge. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Old Bridge most of his life, moving to Sayreville 8 years ago. Damien is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jody nee Ginsburg Ostrowski, his paternal grandparents, Dan & Louise Ostrowski of Jackson, his parents, Dan & Gail Ostrowski of Old Bridge, and a brother Devon Ostrowski of North Reading, MA. Damien also leaves many aunts, uncles & cousins. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 US Hwy 9, Old Bridge. Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, gathering at 9am from the funeral home then to Chestnut Hill Cemetery in E. Brunswick where Graveside Services will begin at 10:30am to include Military Honors.
