Frank M Carbone Jr.

Old Bridge- Francis (Frank) M. Carbone, Jr., 83, of Old Bridge, NJ passed away on December 10, 2014. Born in Corona, NY he was the son of Frank and Carmela Carbone. He retired from Sunshine Biscuit in Sayreville, NJ in 1994 where he worked as a machinist for over 25 years. Frank was a proud Marine who served as a Corporal in the Korean War. He was an enthusiastic baseball fan who loved his Yankees and also enjoyed playing the slots in Atlantic City.

Predeceasing him was his beloved wife Grace and a son, Jack Loughney. He is survived by a son and daughters; Thomas and wife Patricia Loughney, Shari and husband Rick Palmer, Deborah and husband Larry L’Hotta, Lisa Loughney and fiancé Ken Dillon. Seven Grandchildren; April Rafkind, Thomas Loughney, Dana Davis, Richard and Andrew Palmer, Kelly and Michael L’Hotta, 8 Great grandchildren; and a sister Anne Carbone of Long Island.

Family and friends are invited Monday, 2-4 and 6-8pm to Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Route 9 North, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery, Middletown, NJ.
