Frank J. Smith

Frank J. Smith, 22, of Old Bridge, passed away Saturday January 28, 2012, in Minnesota. Born in Staten Island, Frank moved to Old Bridge 10 years ago, with this past year living in Minnesota with friends. Frank enjoyed sports, especially skiing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. He wrestled and graduated from Old Bridge High School, and wanted to join the United States Marine Corps. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mary & Robert Smith; and is survived by his mother and step father, Lorraine & Michael Borriello; his father, Joseph Smith; his brothers, Robert Smith, Michael Borriello, Thomas Smith, and Joseph Smith; and his maternal grandparents, Diana & Frank. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ, 732-679-4422. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10 am from St Ambrose RC Church, 96 Throckmorton Lane Old Bridge. Committal will be private.
