Sabatino Ragone

Sabatino Ragone of Brooklyn died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. He was born in Bari, Italy and served in the Italian Army. Sabatino was a machinist for Monitor Aerospace in Long Island, NY for 32 years before retiring in 1998.

Sabatino is predeceased by his cherished granddaughter Cristina LoBrutto. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years Graziella (Lacalamita) Ragone; his loving children Maria Anna (and Eddie) LoBrutto of Old Bridge and Filippo Sabatino (and Heather) Ragone of Marlboro; his dear brother Vincenzo Ragone of Weehawken, his 2 brothers and 3 sisters in Italy and his beloved grandchildren Michelle and Ashley.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services 8:30 am Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857 followed by a 10 am Mass at Most Holy Redeemer RC Church 133 Amboy Road Matawan, NJ 07747. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery and Mausoleum Chapels 549 County Road 520 Marlboro, NJ 07746. Visitation is Monday, December 30, 2013 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
