Ann Law Herring

Ann Law Herring, age 94, of Hendersonville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. She was a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She loved her family well, especially her grandchildren. Ann was a 1948 graduate of Maury High School in Norfolk, VA and earned a Business Associate’s Degree from William and Mary-VPI in 1952. She was a long time member of the Brandywine Women’s Club and an avid bridge player. She volunteered on many election days to work at the polling locations. Ann loved to travel as well as entertain friends and family in her home. A great cook, she found joy in preparing meals for others for celebrations or in time of need. Being a wife, mother and grandmother were her favorite roles and she always placed them first in her life.

Survived by her loving husband of 65 years Milton Herring, Son Brad (Stephanie) Herring, Daughter Lisa (Duane) Hayward, Grandchildren Mallory Herring, Tanner (Candice) Herring, Josh Hayward, Olivia (Will) Risher, and Seth Hayward; Brothers Maurice Law of Altavista, VA, Gordon Law of Oakdale, NY, and Milton (Joann) Law of Littleton, CO.

Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm and Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 11am to time of service at Hermitage Funeral Home. A funeral service for Ann will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home with Rev. Garry Speich and Rev. Jimmy Hendricks officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Tanner Herring, Will Risher, Josh Hayward, Seth Hayward, Duane Hayward and Martin Law serving as pallbearers. Cecil Stone, Robert Biddle, David Hathcock, Harry Northcutt, Milton Law and Mark Law will serve as Honorary pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America or Hermitage United Methodist Church.
