Anne Marie Cooksey Goodman

Goodman ,Anne Marie Cooksey age 69 Nov. 14 ,1943 – June 19, 2013 She as a loving mother, sister, neighbor and friend lost her long fought battle with cancer and has gone to be with her Lord. She was a fine Christian lady and a member of Green Hill Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Mt Juliet High School and worked for the State of Tenn. in the Revenue Department until her retirement after thirty years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents James R. and Kathryne Glasgow Cooksey and two great grandchildren Gabriel & Madison. She is survived by two sons John R. Goodman and Robert Lee (Patti) Goodman. Two grandchildren Summer (Dwight) Whitaker and Blake Goodman. Two Great Grandchildren Brooklynne & Whit. Two loving sisters Ruth E. Cooksey and Robbie (Jim) Rice. Two aunts Billie Ann Glasgow Sinor and Annie Cooksey Campbell and many cousins ,nieces and nephews. Last but not least her loving friend and dog Muffin. A special thanks to Donna Kay Morgan for her caring and nurturing as her Hospice nurse. Services will be held 10 am Saturday at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Haskins & Bro. August Ruff officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends to serve as pallbearers serving as honorary pallbearers The MJHS class of 1961. Visitation with family will be Friday from 4 pm till 8 pm and Saturday from 9am to time of service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
