He was born in Mayodan, NC to the late Elijah B. and Annie Marie Martin.
Mr. Martin was a Teamster for thirty years.
Visitation will be held Jan. 30 from 4:00 until 7:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Jan. 31 at 11:00am at Hermitage Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jo Martin; his parents and siblings.
Cecil leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 60 years, Martha Jeanette Loyd Martin; son, Evans L. (Kim) Martin; grandchildren, Kerri (Stephen) Painton and Kevin Martin; 3 great – grandchildren; and siblings, Molly Wall, Susan Gore and Barham Martin.
