Charlene Mitchell

Charlene Mitchell, 86 of White House TN passed away on January 28, 2021. She was born on May 21, 1934 in Greenvale, TN and was a life long resident of the area. She was employed by the State of Tennessee in the Department of Human Services. She was a member of the White House Senior Citizens Center and was a Baptist. She loved to dance and go fishing. She was married in 1978 to Daymond Mitchell and was married for 30 yrs at the time of his passing. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all. She is predeceased by her husband Daymond Mitchell and by her daughter Elizabeth Ann Morgan. She is survived by her daughters Katherine Sue (Rick) Hardison, Glenda Faye (Steve) Kemper, Patricia Lynn (Warren) Hahn and Beverly Kay White. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Kelly Hardison, Angie Hardison, Beth Morgan, Jay Morgan, Natalie Arsenautt, Nathan Lenk, and Evan Lenk and by 3 great grandchildren, Talisha Morgan, Christopher Morgan and Phoenix Morgan, 2 brothers Benny (Betty) Lester, Gaylon (Sue) Lester, and 2 sisters Dorothy Patton, and Karen Barry. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday February 2 from 11 am until 12 noon with a Celebration of Life service at noon at Hermitage Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
