uncle charles was once of the most gracious and gentle men that i have ever known. he was soft-spoken and measured in his response. he was a person whose opinion was valued. i alway thought it was wonderful that my cousins-doug, ida and donny  had such "cool parents" who enjoyed having their friends over to swim or play games. they went on great vacations and uncle charles and aunt billie were such fun. i remember uncle charles bought a color tv for them....in 1964!!! he was fun loving, cool and a wonderful uncle. i know our whole family will miss having him close by...this will be especially hard for aunt billie and the rest of their immediate family, but their strong faith is sustaining them and they KNOW they'll see him again in heaven. i'll miss his twinkling blue eyes. i love you uncle charles. -sandy

My deepest sympathy to the each member of the Reding family during this time of loss. So sorry to hear of the loss of close friend and neighbor.  He has blessed so many and was always a dear friend. So sorry I missed seeing each of you, its been too many years. Come by and visit when time permits.

Charlie was always so very kind to me and I asked his advise many times in my young years. His advise was as good as he was. I'll miss my friend. Ted

We all had our breath taken away for a moment upon hearing of Mr. Charlie. Everyone here at Smith Brothers Car Wash loved to see this sweet little man come strolling in the door. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a kind word for everyone. We love his family too and keep you all in our prayers.

Our Charlie is gone and truley will be missed. The best part of what I do is to talk and visit with customers, especially the few that over the years you become very close with and see sometimes more than your on family. They become a part of you and what you do. I feel that meeting Charlie and Mrs Reding, and then over my career two more generations of very close friend that feel like family, doesn't happen very often. Thank You Charlie for your frindship, your family and the "feel good" you gave me everytime I saw you.

I am so sad to hear about Charlie's passing.  He was a wonderful person and will be missed.
