Cordon C. Flener, age 87, passed away Jan. 28, 2016 in Hermitage, TN. He lived in Anderson, IN for 64 years and was a member of First Nazarene Church before moving to Tennessee in September 2014. He retired from General Motors after 25 years of service and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ella Looper Flener who he married on Sept. 19, 1952; daughters, Tammy Barnes (Glenn) & Darlene LeMond (Darryl); grandchildren, Lindsay Gainey (Jeffrey), Jared Barnes (Kimberly), Ryan Barnes (McKenzie), Rachel LeMond and Jonathan LeMond (Lindsey); 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3:30 pm Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN with Bro. Darryl LeMond & Bro. Glenn Barnes officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
