She will be remembered as a loving mother and daughter who found joy in her day-to-day life. Dawn had a great sense of humor and wit and loved bringing people together with laughter. She was a lover of music and dancing, loved her pets, and was always doing her arts and crafts projects – especially crocheting gifts for family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Shelby Nicole King and Dylan Ronald King; mother Margaret B. Taylor; brother James Jason Miller, stepmother Alleese Miller, stepsiblings Kevin Taylor, Cheryl Allen, Daryl Bard, Kenny Bard and Allen Bard; also her loving aunts, uncles and extended family.
Dawn is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Lee Miller and stepfather Marvin Royce Taylor.
Gathering of family and friends Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 2:00-4:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 4:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
