

A family man and law enforcement officer, Dewey LeRoy Wiles passed away on January 16, 2015. He was born in Kansas City, MO, on March 10, 1938. Most of his life was lived in Orange County, California, but he moved to Tennessee in 2008. He was always active in his church and involved in community life. He served as Board Member for the Westminster School District and as Board Member for the Midway City Sanitation District. He ran for State Senate.
Dewey is survived by, and loved by, Wife of 50 years Bessie; Daughter Cindy Greenwood and husband Russell from Coventry, UK; Son Alan Wiles and wife Jan from Goodlettsville, TN; Grandson Brandon Aldridge, wife Megan and their son Elijah from Cane Ridge, TN; Granddaughter Kelly Rueby, husband Rob and their daughter Heather from Gallatin, TN; Granddaughter Brooke Waltman, her husband Danny and their son Mason from Nashville, TN; Granddaughter Jessica Greenwood from Gallatin, TN; Grandson Isaac Greenwood from Hendersonville, TN; and Brother Ray Wiles, wife Judy and niece Stacey from Cloquet, MN. A funeral service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Long Hollow Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 2 hour prior to the service.
