Dorothy Darlene Helton

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Talmage and Dorothy Wheeler, siblings, Johnny Wheeler, Carol Oakley and Randy Wheeler

Darlene is survived by her husband, C.E; children Sherry (Ron) Holloway, Terri (J.D.) Garrett, Kelly (Michael) Quince; grandchildren Morgan (Jeremy) Brown, Dalton (Madison) Garrett, Nicole (Jimmy) Ortiz, Ashley Holloway, Alana Holloway, Emily Quince, and great-grandchildren Kendric and Garrett Brown.

Darlene was a member of The Donelson Fellowship for 62 years. She retired from UPS after working there 21 years. She pursued her passion of selling fine jewelry at Macy's for 12 years.

Darlene loved family gatherings and was married to her husband C.E. for 62 years. She loved to read, shop and travel.

Pallbearers are: Ron Holloway, J.D. Garrett, Michael Quince, Dalton Garrett, Jeremy Brown and Jimmy Ortiz.

Visitation and burial will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138. The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation on April 18, 2023 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm until the hour of service at 2:00pm, followed by burial with Brother Danny Thomas officiating.
