Dorothy Jacqueline "Jackie" Hudgens Pitts, age 88 of Nashville, departed this life on Monday, June 1st, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Rosser Hudgens and Cordie Louise Hood; husband of 50 years, Thomas G. Pitts; sons, Thomas Wayne Pitts and Terry R. Pitts. Survived by her daughter, Gloria L. "Beanie" (Mike) Ford; son, Jeffrey T. (Julie) Pitts; grandchildren, Tracy Ford (Joe) Young, Keeley N. Pitts, Kyle R. (Paw) Pitts, Cody T. Pitts, Chase T. Pitts and great grandson, Terry Andrew Pitts; daughter-in-law, Pamela Pitts. A private graveside service will be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice, Alzheimer's Association or the Nashville Humane Association.
