Sam Fleming was a strong, loyal man who loved his family deeply and lived life with a quiet passion for the things that brought him joy. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Sam went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 16, 2026 at the age of 80.
He was born on July 14, 1945 to Ernest & Ivone Fleming. After high school, Sam married the love of his life, Brenda, and together they built a beautiful life centered around family, love, and years of memories together. Sam and Brenda shared 56 years of marriage. Together they raised two children: Shane & Kimberly.
Sam loved classic Chevys and could often be found working on one. He enjoyed spending time in the garage, tinkering, restoring, and talking cars with anyone who shared the same appreciation. He also loved hunting and traveling out West with Brenda, making memories together in the places they loved most.
But more than anything, Sam loved his family. They were his greatest source of pride and happiness. Whether it was a holiday gathering, a conversation in the garage, or simply sitting together sharing stories, those were the moments that mattered most to him. He loved reminiscing about old memories and being surrounded by the people he loved.
Sam was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Fleming, and his parents, Ernest & Ivone Fleming.
He is survived by his son, Shane Fleming (& wife Anjie), his daughter, Kimberly Sorey, his granddaughter, Kalee Dillard (& husband Jake), his grandson, Adam Fleming (& wife Mikayla), his great-grandchildren, Kayden, Kinslee, & Kamery Fleming, his brother, Wayne Fleming, his sister, Kathy Fleming, and many friends and family members who loved him dearly.
Sam wanted life to be celebrated, memories to be shared, and time together to be cherished. The family will be honoring him with a private Celebration of Life gathering in his memory.
