Evangeline O. Piper, age 72, went to be with the Lord on February 17, 2014. Preceded in death by husband Douglas Moore Piper, parents, Melvin & Thelma O'Brien, brothers, Tommy O'Brien, Glenn O'Brien; grandson, Ryan Piper. Survived by children, Tracy (Michelle) Piper, Stephen (Laura) Piper, Cyndie Piper; 10 grandchildren, Allison (Nik) White, Andrew (Jessica) Piper, Emily (Josh) Phillips, Calvin Piper, Austin Beasley, Kyle Beasley, Emily Beasley; sister, Merrie Beth (Steven) Downey; brother, Pat (Patricia) O’Brien. Evangeline was a longtime member of Old Hickory Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, She will be missed by all. Visitation Friday, February 21st 4pm until 8pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Funeral Services Saturday, February 22nd 10:30 am at Old Hickory Church of Christ with visitation one hour prior to service, Don Loftis officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
