Survived by children, Joe (Brenda) Steakley, Jack (Anna Lisa Graham) Steakley; grandchildren, Casey (Marcia) Steakley, Crystal (Jimmy Taylor) Long, Blair (Jonathan) Lund, Nathan (Jamie) Steakley, Brian (Katie) Steakley; great grandchildren, Belle Long, Lilly Grace Taylor, Elizabeth Steakley, Madelyn Steakley, Bailey Steakley, Caleb Steakley, Willow Steakley and a host of family and friends.
Jack was employed with Gerber Baby Foods and retired after 38 years of service. Jack served his country in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 82. He loved the outdoors and being on the water and was a member of Cedar Creek Yacht Club for over 26 years.
Visitation Sunday, December 9th 2pm until 5pm and Monday, 10 am until 11am.
Funeral Service Monday, December 10th 11am in the Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Fred E. A. Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Casey Steakley, Nathan Steakley, Brian Steakley, Tim McDaniel, Jonathan Lund, Rick Davis, Dave Barton, and Sam Wellington will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Jack’s memory to Alive Hospice of Nashville.
