James retired from Dupont after forty one years of service. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a true outdoorsman.
Preceded in death by wife Alice Gregory, Parents Joseph & Daisy Gregory, Brothers David & Joseph Gregory.
Survived by Daughter and son in law Stacy & Chris Gee, Sister Janie Gregory, Grandchildren Christian Gee and Avery (Ricky) Ratcliff, Great grandson Rocky Ratcliff.
A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM with Brother Jeff Pratt officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.
