

Mr. Massey was born in Prentiss County, Mississippi, to the late James H. Massey and Christine Gist Massey. He retired from AVCO as a supervisor after 36 years of service. He proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Massey was a mason and member of the Masonic Lodge #375. He was a longtime member of the Donelson Presbyterian Church. Mr. Massey enjoyed dancing, cars, traveling, reading, and watching westerns—John Wayne being his favorite.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Scott Massey, and sister, Martha Ann Massey.
Mr. Massey is survived by his daughter, Kaye M. (Cecil Jr.) Clark; grandsons, Cary S. (Kim) Byrd and Jeff L. (Stacy) Byrd; step grandchildren, Brad (Joeli) Clark and Amanda Clark (Jason) Harrison; great grandchildren, Brylee, Harper and Hadley; and step great grandchildren, Cole, Carson, Joseph, Bella, Abby, Elijah, Anna-Grace, Griffin and Foster.
Private Graveside Services and Military Honors will be conducted at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
