It has taken me some time to process this loss... I met Jeff in college.  Many years later we were able to reconnect and Jeff has never been anything but a kind, sweet, talented, human and pet loving person.  Everyone loved Jeff.  He always smiled, was laid back, had a fun personality and quick wit.  He never would say anything against anyone or hurt them.  He made friends easily, always making everyone feel comfortable.  He was smart, well-spoken, a hard worker and well dressed!  I never have known anyone that didn't at least have 1 pair of jeans, but not our khaki-wearing friend.  He loved his pets with all of his heart!  Sugar, Molly, Lavender and other canine and feline members of his family.  His talent as a chef was amazing... you never just ate a basic grilled cheese... it was fancied up with some delectable cheese, spread, or bread.  Everything always plated with impeccable presentation.  He had such patience for everything and everyone.  He loved his family so much. His family is such a loving family... so much love from his family and Angie.  My heart breaks for each of you when I think of the love and support you had for him, and he had for you.  A wonderful human being that was taken way too soon.  Another huge loss.  The world is very different realizing that he is not here physically, but shines down on his family members everyday, protecting them.  Yes, he is missed, loved and in such a happy place.  One day we will all meet again at his dinner table and enjoy the feast that awaits us.  Prayers and many hugs to Kay, Jeff, Angie and daughters, Mark, Autumn and Jackson.  Know that my thoughts and prayers continue your way constantly.

Love the people God gave you because he will need them back one day.  I certainly loved Jeff with all of my heart. I miss him tremendously! It is comforting to read all the wonderful stories from friends and family. He would be honored to see how many lives he touched. He often spoke of his childhood, high school, college and current friends as "my buddy so and so".  He told me story after story of you and even if he hadn't seen you in years, you were still his buddy. He was such a brilliant man, who loved to learn and he was always teaching me and anyone who would listen! I was spoiled rotten with his cooking. We had the most elegant meals for no reason at all. He would just get an idea and his head, and I would be eating a five star meal in our kitchen. He was a sweet, loving husband who would tip toe around in the mornings, make my coffee and let me sleep in. He left us too soon, but I know God has big plans for him. All my love to you, beloved, until we meet again...

I just found out yesterday about Jeff thru a friend. It is so sad that fine young men pass away too early. I just lost my son, Andrew Fidler, to cancer on May 10th, three days before he would have been 46.  I remember Jeff and his parents from the soccer days at NYSA which my husband helped establish. My husband passed away in December of last year.  I feel your pain.  May we all have strenght to get thru this.

It is with a heavy heart that I share this with my/our friends! Jeff M, Lunsford has transitioned and gained his angel wings! I am in shock and heartbroken! There is not a time in my life that I don't have a memory of Jeff in it! From growing up together, to playing soccer together(back when girls didn't have a league so we toughened it up and played with the boys), to us being sick at the same time and having the same home bound teacher, (Jeff and I took our exams at my house but due to us cutting up she put us in separate rooms) and our many talks on the phone when we were in different hospitals...having each other to lean on since we were both so young and no one could truly understand what we were going through and to the wonderful friendship we shared!! I can say I am lost and I ask for many prayers and light for his family, his friends including all of us DuPont alumni and for his community that he touched so deeply!! He NEVER met a stranger and he was always so kind to everyone! Such a friend, a family man and a true gentleman! Jeff, you always have a piece of our hearts with you, now may you soar with the Angels my friend and know how truly loved you are!!

I have not seen Jeff in years but I have a lot of good memories working with him at the country club. Shocked and saddened, my thoughts and prayers are with the family. Bye Jeff...

I have such fond memories of Jeff when he was young of the trips to the swimming pool at Old Hickory and the weekend trips to the State Parks.  My family and the Lunsfords had great times.  Jeff is resting in peace now.

Had the opportunity to work for Jeff fifteen years ago.  His intelligence and quick wit created an enjoyable, humerous environment.  His kindness and quiet leadership  inspired me to attend with due diligence the responsibilities he set before me.  Was fortunate to run into him every couple of years, the warm repore and gentle spirit were ever apparent.  Will miss him.  My thoughts and prayers to his family.
