TURNER, Jere Lee Age 69 of Hermitage. Passed away April 27, 2013. Jere was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved Lady Vols Basketball. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Turner; sister, Deborah Rains. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Pat Turner; daughter, Kelley Turner; son, Robert Turner; beloved pet, Princess Leia; special friend, Stan Williams; special cousin, Randolph (Cuz) Smith; a host of other family members and friends. A Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Groover officiating. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Baptist Youth Fund.
