THOMPSON, Jerry H., age 79 of Old Hickory, Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Eunice Thompson; sons, Joe (Janet), Robert (Brenda), Tommy, Johnny (Barbara) and Rev. David (Treva) Thompson; brother, Jack Thompson; sister, Jo Alice (Joe Bob) Pierce; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Thompson was a member of St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 472. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 at St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 901 W. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115 with the Rev., Dr. Dewayne Tyus and Dr. David Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family members will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation with the family 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Church. Condolences may be offered at www.hermitagefh.com.
