I'm so sorry to hear about John.  We went to school together for many years and worked on my 1968 Chevy truck together.  I think Gary actually bought the truck.  John was so kind and a good friend.  I'm sorry so many years passed since we saw each other.  You and your family are in my prayers my friend.

I waited until today to write about John. Today would have been John's 43rd birthday. I had known John since 1990 and every year since then whether I have seen John or not I would remember that February 12th was his and his mom's birthday.  I remember on his birthday I believe it was 1994  a big snow hit and I had made a cross-stiched bowling towel and I had to get it to him before it snowed. He liked it and his mom even commented on the fact that she remembered me bringing it to him. I am most grateful for John introducing me to my husband Jim. John and Jim were the best of friends and we spent a lot of time together from late nights bowling, eating at Applebee's and many different road trips. But the most important day was July 31,1999 when John stood beside Jim as the best man and witnessed our wedding. John will be missed so much and we loved him so very much. I have looked at so many pictures of all the fun times we had and can't believe he is now in heaven with Jesus. I know that each day will get easier for us here on Earth but we can know that once again we will see each other in heaven. John we love you and to the whole Jackson family we are praying for you to be able to find a little more comfort with each passing day.

Shirlene, sorry to hear about John. We started down there on Sat. but got word that visitation wasn/t till Sunday, so we came back home.By Sunday we seemed to have came down with a stomach virus. We were shocked and so sad to hear of John's passing.  Mark worked at HG Hill in Donelson and worked with "Buck" as we knew him, many years ago. That's how I met him. He was always a delight!  Several years ago I was at Mexican restaurant and this young man kept looking at me. He finally said I'm Buck.  I didn't recognize him because he had lost weight but he remembered me!  It had probably been 20 years since I had seen him!  He told me he lived in the cute yellow house we pass every day! We didn't hear until today or we would have come to the visitation or service. Where to begin, "He brighten my day, everyday...with a Good Morning Beautiful or a Hello Gorgeous!" John, I want your family to know that they raised a special man, you were kind, loving and the friendliest person I've meet in years... Thank you, for raising him that way...I was blessed to have known him and spend time with him! I will miss him dearly, as he meant a lot to me and our co-workers at TLK.

To the family of John.. I had the pleasure of knowing John for a few months... we worked together.. He was one of the kindest & funny people I've worked with at TLK. He will be missed at work by alot of us.. My condolences to your family in your time of loss.

I am so sorry for your loss John was such a wonderful person.We went to school togther. Myself and my sister we always sat together on the bus with John.Plus he was our family.He will be missed.Sending prayers your way..

John always brought cheer to the places he visited.  We always were in a joyful and happy mood after he would grace us with his presence.  He will be missed.
