

Judith Bell Binkley, affectionately known as “Granny Granny” to everyone, age 81, was born on September 27, 1944, and passed away on February 25, 2026. She was a longtime resident of Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Judy was a gentle, generous, kind-hearted, and selfless presence whose warmth drew people in and made them feel they truly belonged.
Granny Granny loved her family deeply. She kept an open door, always making sure everyone was cared for and fed, offering steady comfort through simple, faithful acts of kindness. Her home and her heart were places of welcome, and her devotion to those around her will be remembered with lasting gratitude.
She worked tirelessly her entire life, holding two jobs—working by day at Northern Telecom and by night at the Krystal Company—providing faithfully and selflessly for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Clayton Binkley; her sister, Darlene Glennon; her brothers, James Bell and Larry Wayne Bell; and her parents, Jim Bell and Margaret Timbs.
She is survived by her children, Tamara (Steve) Hossman and Jason (Josette) Gregory; her grandchildren, Jayme Gregory, Bell (Ryan) Wise, and T.J. Gregory; her great-grandson, Bo Wise; her sisters, Margaret Akines and Camilla Leas; her brother, David (Shirley) Bell; as well as countless nieces, nephews, loved ones, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home located at 535 Shute Lane Old Hickory TN 37138.
Granny Granny’s love, strength, and unwavering kindness will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
