Kathleen Ann Sawyer, a beloved and cherished member of the Donelson and Shelbyville community, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on January 14, 1957, in Carrolton, Ky. Kathleen spent her life surrounded by the love and warmth of her family and friends.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years, Bobby Sawyer, and her sons, Ryan Sawyer (Leshaye), Tim Sawyer (Amber), and Jaime Sawyer. Kathleen was also a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Owen Sawyer, Aaron Sawyer, Isabella Sawyer, and Houston Sawyer.
Visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home, located at 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, on January 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on January 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue on January 23, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Kathleen will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
